Job Title: Certified Millwright

We are seeking a skilled Certified Millwright to join our team at our Grande Prairie Sawmill. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mill machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on mill machinery and equipment.
  • Inspect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
  • Assess and prioritize maintenance tasks to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  • Apply knowledge and skills to troubleshoot issues and implement safe and reliable fixes.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
  • Red Seal Certification in Millwrighting.
  • Physical ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • High degree of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the lumber or industrial manufacturing process (an asset).
  • Experience with welding procedures and equipment reliability (an asset).
