**Job Description:
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Ascend Recruiting Partners. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing new business revenue, generating leads, and building relationships with clients in the customs brokerage and trade management industries.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our client base.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver customized solutions, including pricing and proposal development.
- Present and negotiate proposals with clients, ensuring a clear understanding of our services and value proposition.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform business development strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activity, and business development metrics using CRM software.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in customs brokerage, trade consulting, and freight forwarding.
- Proven track record of generating new business revenue and expanding client relationships.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management, trade regulations, and customs brokerage practices.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
