We are seeking a talented Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the exceptional quality and performance of our software and hardware modules. You will collaborate closely with our agile software development team to enhance our products for feedback control and defect detection in laser processing applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans.
  • Construct automated test cases using Python.
  • Refine system integration and performance testing methodologies.
  • Collaborate effectively with the support team.
  • Work in tandem with other testing teams within the company.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate strong learning, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Possess proficiency in Python development.
  • Adhere to clean coding practices.
  • Have experience in automated testing of Windows applications.
  • Industry experience in software/hardware testing is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and QA processes is beneficial.
  • Expertise in version control, integration testing, and issue tracking is advantageous.
  • A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.
