Position Overview

The Food Service Operations Manager at Hi-Flyer Food (Canada) Inc. is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our dining establishment, ensuring a high standard of service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Manage cash flow and complete financial reports, including balance sheets and cash reports.
  • Staff Development: Conduct performance evaluations and provide guidance to team members.
  • Inventory Control: Organize and maintain stock levels to ensure smooth operations.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Marketing Participation: Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns, ensuring excellent service.
  • Operational Oversight: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.
Team Leadership

Supervise a team of 16-20 staff members across various operational areas.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of College or CEGEP.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years in a managerial role within the food service industry.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate is required.
Technical Skills

Proficient in various software applications including:

  • Accounting software
  • Electronic cash registers
  • MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Point of Sale systems
Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to manage tight deadlines and repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
