We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Planning Strategist to join our team at Huawei. As a key individual contributor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's technology landscape and driving innovation in high-performance AI computing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and Development: Influence research and development efforts in high-performance AI computing architecture and systems, taking a blue-sky approach to explore new frontiers.
- Thought Leadership: Develop insights and thought leadership through in-depth study and analysis, participating in industrial and academic events, and engaging in internal technology and strategy discussions.
- Technology Landscape: Explore and define the technology landscape, trends, and frontiers that will have a significant impact on the industry and Huawei's business in the mid-term and long-term.
- Technology Strategy: Drive technology strategy and development charters to contribute to the company's technology competitiveness and readiness in the future.
- Research Directions: Develop research directions and topics to advance state-of-the-art knowledge and insights on subject matters.
Requirements:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience with strong technology curiosity.
- Education: A Master's or Ph.D. degree in computer science/engineering, or a related field.
- Skills: Proficient in studying state-of-the-art research work and developing new ideas.
- Knowledge: Deep knowledge of high-performance AI computing microarchitecture, domain-specific acceleration, computer system architecture, parallel/multithreaded processing methods, programming models, algorithms, and data structures.
- Personal Qualities: Driven, with a passion for technology and innovation.
