We are seeking an experienced professional to take on a senior leadership role within our Contaminated Sites Investigation and Remediation division. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in environmental engineering, with a minimum of 10-15 years of hands-on experience in contaminated site assessments and remediation efforts, complemented by project management and leadership capabilities. Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize Health & Safety in all aspects of work, ensuring it remains a core focus.
- Lead the Whitehorse team in securing projects, overseeing the planning and execution of contaminated site projects across various sectors.
- Utilize your diverse fieldwork experience and project management skills to mentor and develop team members.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, including proposal development, contract negotiation, project execution, financial oversight, and client relationship management to ensure all deliverables align with client expectations.
- Act as a mentor, providing technical guidance and support to nurture the growth of the team.
Qualifications
- A relevant undergraduate degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Geoscience, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in Environmental Consulting, holding a recognized professional designation in Engineering, Geoscience, Biology, or a related discipline.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to persuade and negotiate effectively.
- Experience in providing technical advice and conducting senior reviews of project outputs.
- Proven ability to lead a team of professionals, demonstrating excellent communication skills with both internal staff and external clients.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the technical writing abilities necessary for client deliverables.
- A clean Driver's Abstract and a willingness to travel as required for project assignments.
