We are seeking an experienced professional to take on a senior leadership role within our Contaminated Sites Investigation and Remediation division. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in environmental engineering, with a minimum of 10-15 years of hands-on experience in contaminated site assessments and remediation efforts, complemented by project management and leadership capabilities. Key Responsibilities

  1. Prioritize Health & Safety in all aspects of work, ensuring it remains a core focus.
  2. Lead the Whitehorse team in securing projects, overseeing the planning and execution of contaminated site projects across various sectors.
  3. Utilize your diverse fieldwork experience and project management skills to mentor and develop team members.
  4. Manage projects from inception to completion, including proposal development, contract negotiation, project execution, financial oversight, and client relationship management to ensure all deliverables align with client expectations.
  5. Act as a mentor, providing technical guidance and support to nurture the growth of the team.

Qualifications

  1. A relevant undergraduate degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Geoscience, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
  2. A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in Environmental Consulting, holding a recognized professional designation in Engineering, Geoscience, Biology, or a related discipline.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to persuade and negotiate effectively.
  4. Experience in providing technical advice and conducting senior reviews of project outputs.
  5. Proven ability to lead a team of professionals, demonstrating excellent communication skills with both internal staff and external clients.
  6. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the technical writing abilities necessary for client deliverables.
  7. A clean Driver's Abstract and a willingness to travel as required for project assignments.
