About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Environmental Leader to join our team in Whitehorse, Yukon. As a senior leader in the Contaminated Sites Investigation and Remediation practice area, you will be responsible for leading projects from proposal to implementation, including proposal preparation, contract review, project delivery, financial control, and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Leadership: Manage projects from proposal to implementation, ensuring deliverables meet client expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
  2. Team Mentorship: Provide guidance and technical advice to foster and grow the talented team.
  3. Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  4. Business Development: Contribute to business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and developing proposals to secure new projects.
  5. Technical Expertise: Provide technical advice and senior review of project deliverables, ensuring high-quality work is delivered to clients.
Requirements
  1. Education: A relevant undergraduate degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Geoscience, or other technical discipline from an accredited university.
  2. Experience: At least 10-15 years of experience in Environmental Consulting with an appropriate professional designation in Engineering, Geoscience, Biology, or related discipline.
  3. Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including persuasion and negotiation abilities to achieve consensus, resolve conflict, and achieve desired outcomes.
  4. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead a project team of professionals with excellent communication skills both internally with staff and externally with clients.
  5. Travel: A clean Driver's Abstract, and a willingness to travel as needed for project work.
