Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate production activities, ensuring timely availability of parts at workstations.
  • Serve as the primary link between Production and Supply Management.
  • Support Intermediate and Senior MRP Controllers as needed.

Operational Duties:

  • Ensure that manufactured or procured parts are available at designated workstations.
  • Analyze requirements and transactions to maintain accurate parts coverage.
  • Release orders and manage shop orders based on the production master calendar.
  • Develop schedules for sub-assemblies in accordance with planning charts.
  • Maintain material master parameters to optimize inventory availability and reduce costs.
  • Execute transactions in SAP to ensure timely and accurate information management.
  • Address emergencies promptly and monitor parts held by Quality Assurance.
  • Implement updates to production orders reflecting the latest technical documentation.
  • Assess inventory needs based on value, deadlines, and shelf life while managing obsolete inventory.
  • Maintain and execute the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) relevant to your responsibilities.
  • Analyze future production loads and provide necessary support.
  • Perform additional related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • College diploma in Industrial Engineering or a Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel.
  • General understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
  • Knowledge of MRP principles.
  • Familiarity with SAP.
