Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at KFC Island Hwy Nanaimo. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring that our customers receive their orders in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food to order, including operating a deep fryer and other kitchen equipment.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies, including food, beverages, and cleaning products.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and that our kitchen runs smoothly.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Availability: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
