Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified Sessional Lecturer to teach FAH230H1F Renaissance Art & Architecture at the University of Toronto. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lectures, grading, and providing academic support to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver weekly lectures on Renaissance Art & Architecture, covering major art centres and types of artistic and architectural production in Italy and northern Europe.
- Grade assignments, exams, and other assessments, ensuring accurate and timely feedback to students.
- Provide academic support to students through in-person office hours, addressing their questions and concerns.
- Invigilate tests and exams, maintaining a fair and secure testing environment.
Requirements:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Art History, with a strong background in the course material.
- Experience in teaching and academic administration, with a focus on student engagement and assessment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
