We are seeking a qualified individual to fill a Sessional Lecturer position in the Department of Management at the University of Toronto Scarborough.

Course Information

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching MGAC50H3 - Canadian Income Taxation I, a 0.50 FCE course, during the Winter 2025 academic session.

Responsibilities

The duties of this position include:

  • Design and delivery of course content
  • Development, administration, and marking of assignments, tests, and exams
  • Calculation and submission of grades
  • Holding regular office hours and maintaining reasonable availability for student and administrative contact
  • Supervision of T.A. assigned to the course
Requirements

The minimum qualifications for this position include:

  • CPA, CA designation
  • Demonstrated teaching excellence, currency in and mastery of subject area
  • Previous experience in teaching a similar course at undergraduate (university) level or similar environment
  • Several years related professional experience
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position will be determined based on the collective agreement between the University of Toronto and CUPE 3902 Unit 3.
