Position Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and driven Analytical Scientist to join our Analytical Development team. This role reports directly to the Principal Scientist of Analytical Development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and validate analytical methodologies for the comprehensive testing and characterization of critical quality attributes associated with raw materials and LNP drug products.
- Evaluate the performance of newly developed analytical methods to confirm their appropriateness for intended applications.
- Prepare detailed analytical test method documentation and development reports that encapsulate the history and performance of the methods.
- Assist in identifying and managing collaborations with external partners and contract research organizations.
- Conduct thorough data analyses and produce detailed written reports summarizing study findings.
- Present scientific data in various formats, both formally and informally, to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain awareness of current literature and advancements in the field.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a Doctorate (or Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience) in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field. Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience with lipid HPLC analysis, oligonucleotide IP-RP LC analysis, Ribogreen assays, and particle size determination.
- Familiarity with lipid nanoparticle characterization and analytical techniques such as HPLC and mass spectrometry (LC-MS, GC-MS).
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and data trending methodologies.
- Understanding of ICH Guidelines, regulatory standards, and cGMP practices.
- Experience in generating development reports and authoring regulatory submissions.
