- Provide accounting services to associated entities as required.
- Prepare annual scorecards for relevant banking alliances and fulfill reporting obligations to external organizations.
- Contribute to the adoption of sustainability standards within the financial reporting framework.
- Design and implement a robust Financial Governance Framework, ensuring independent oversight of policies and procedures.
- Prepare and present updates to senior management and the Board on financial governance matters.
- Facilitate the month-end financial close process, optimizing efficiency across the finance department.
- Conduct thorough reviews of financial accounts and prepare necessary documentation for audit committees.
- Provide accounting support for various entities established by the organization.
- Assist in the annual financial reporting cycle, ensuring all general ledger accounts are substantiated.
- Review service agreements and oversee bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in financial records.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for external stakeholders, maintaining compliance with all reporting obligations.
- Support the organization’s commitment to sustainability through relevant financial practices.
- A degree in commerce, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Experience in a regulated banking environment, particularly in financial and regulatory reporting.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- A proactive and motivated approach to work.
- Experience in process improvement initiatives within financial operations.
- Familiarity with various banking functions, including risk management and relationship management, is advantageous.
