We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team at Sushi Modo. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to create new and innovative sushi dishes that showcase our commitment to quality and excellence.
- Chef Management: Supervise and mentor our kitchen staff to ensure that they are meeting our high standards for food preparation and presentation.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that our kitchen is running efficiently and effectively.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment that meets all health and safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that all dishes are prepared to a high standard and presented in a timely manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
