About the Role

British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Vice President, Technology Operations & Architecture to join its team. As a key member of the organization's leadership, this role will play a pivotal part in defining the future technology landscape of BCI, driving large-scale initiatives that span cloud infrastructure, digital workplace services, enterprise architecture, and disaster recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategically important operational and architectural initiatives, working closely with teams to drive operational excellence.
  • Act as a senior technical advisor to the SVP, Technology & Innovation (CTO), guiding enterprise-wide technical decision-making.
  • Partner with BCI's Enterprise Solutions and Cybersecurity teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and the achievement of digital transformation goals.
  • Oversee multiple teams of internal and external resources, building and maintaining strategic relationships with third-party partners.
