Job Title: Office Assistant

Mintu Electronics Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, prepare invoices and bank deposits, order office supplies, and maintain inventory.
  • Communication: Send and receive messages, provide customer service, and file material in storage areas.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities: Hardworking, time management, accurate, and client-focused.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience.
  • Permanent position.
  • 35 hours per week.
  • English language.
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Participate in a government or community program that supports Indigenous people.
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, businesses, and organizations.
  • Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees.
  • Facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
