Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at 9146-6573 Québec inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a clean environment.
  • Operate dishwashers and washing machines to ensure dishes, glassware, and utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Prepare and portion food items, including fruits and vegetables, for service.
  • Assist with food preparation, including heating and finishing simple food items.
  • Stock refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas with food and supplies.
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies and ingredients.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
