**Job Summary**

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Uniformed Asset Protection Personnel to join our team. As a key member of our store operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our customers and employees.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to all internal and external customers, fostering a positive and welcoming shopping environment.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to Gatekeeper alarms and receipt checks, ensuring the security of our assets and the well-being of our customers.
  • Conduct regular safety hazard assessments, identifying and mitigating potential risks to ensure a safe shopping experience for all.
  • Escalate crisis or emergency situations in a timely and professional manner, prioritizing the safety of our customers and employees.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily, weekly, and monthly status reports, providing valuable insights into store operations.
  • Perform other duties as required, supporting the overall success of our store operations.

**Requirements:**

  • Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred, with a strong understanding of store operations and customer service principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with store teams and customers.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a talent for building trust and rapport with customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor, with the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to walk or stand for long periods, with the physical stamina to perform duties in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with a strong emphasis on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is an asset, demonstrating a commitment to safety and emergency response.
