About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Service Associate to join our team at RONA. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our stores are visually appealing and well-stocked, providing an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Display Maintenance: Ensure that product displays are well-maintained, visually appealing, and accurately priced.
  • Stock Availability: Verify that stock levels are adequate and restock as needed to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the Merchandising Service team to prioritize tasks, schedule projects, and ensure timely completion.
  • Reset and Service Tasks: Review and complete all assigned WIRE merchandise reset and service tasks, ensuring that all products are properly stocked, fronted, and priced according to planogram.
  • Project Execution and Feedback: Provide project information, updates, and feedback to the Merchandising Service team, ensuring that all projects are executed to the highest standard.
Requirements
  • Basic Arithmetic and Reading/Writing Skills: Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
  • Computer Literacy: Ability to utilize web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Merchandising Experience: Six (6) months of experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms, setting up and tearing down displays (preferred).
  • Power Equipment Operation: Experience operating power equipment, such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment (in asset).
  • Basic Tools and Safety: Working knowledge of basic tools needed for the job, such as hand tools, drills, and saws (preferred).
  • Task and Results Orientation: Ability to prioritize tasks, work in a repetitive environment, and react to unexpected outcomes in a timely manner.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work standing, bending, sitting, and/or walking continuously, and completing a full day's work, including scheduled breaks.
