Environmental Management Director Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Management Director to join our team in Ontario. As a key member of our environmental team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating environmental discipline teams on proposals, bids, and project delivery associated with transit infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate environmental discipline teams on proposals, bids, and project delivery
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and environmental technical discipline leads, technical staff, and sub-consultants for timely execution of study deliverables and preparation of documentation
  • Conduct senior review of proposal and project deliverables prior to client release
  • Identify and manage environmental commitments, risks, and compliance-related deliverables
  • Mentor junior and intermediate staff, identifying career goals and development opportunities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in environmental studies, environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction phase environmental management on transportation-related projects
  • Experience with acquisition of environmental permits and approvals, including preparation of applications
  • Ability to direct and coordinate the efforts of a multi-disciplinary environmental team
