Director of Environmental Services

Spring Living Retirement Communities is a rapidly growing Canadian senior living owner/operator with a mission to create warm, welcoming, and secure environments for residents. We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Environmental Services to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the physical condition of our retirement communities is maintained to reflect the Spring Living brand and brand standards.
  • Minimize or eliminate Health & Safety risks to employees, residents, and the general public.
  • Inspect work areas and essential equipment to ensure safety standards are maintained, clean, and sanitary.
  • Manage department budget and support the community capital budget process.
  • Manage external vendor contracts with respect to service and cost.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of building automation systems, fire safety equipment, and emergency shut-offs.
  • Ability to select, train, develop, engage, and manage performance of Environmental and Housekeeping staff.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
