Enterprise Platforms Engineer

Astellas Pharma Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Platforms Engineer to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our digital capability team, you will play a crucial role in driving our digital initiatives forward and ensuring the seamless integration of our business platforms and systems.
As an Enterprise Platforms Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and configuring business platforms to meet the specific needs of our organization. This will involve programming, configuring settings, and integrating various software solutions to enhance data flow and business processes.
You will work closely with our team members within the subdivision and across other digital and business units to ensure the highest quality and consistency in the work delivered. Your expertise in SAP O2C Order Management, Shipping and Billing, SAP DRC and E-invoicing, and Intrastat will be invaluable in this role.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and configure business platforms to meet the specific needs of our organization.
- Ensure seamless integration between different business platforms and systems.
- Monitor the performance of business platforms and identify bottlenecks to implement optimizations.
- Provide technical support to platform users and conduct training sessions to ensure effective utilization.
- Actively participate in and contribute to various initiatives, applying your specialized skills to achieve objectives and expected value.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, e.g., Computer Science, Data Science.
- Demonstrated experience in specific areas of digital capability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies, e.g., ABAP, EDI, XML.
- Agile and adaptable to changing environments and project scopes.
