Job Title: Trade Supervisor Mechanic

Lakes District Maintenance is seeking a skilled Trade Supervisor Mechanic to oversee and coordinate mechanical maintenance and repair activities in a construction setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate mechanical maintenance and repair activities
  • Ensure smooth operation of machinery and equipment
  • Lead and manage a team of direct employees
  • Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and management personnel
  • Conduct related supervisory functions proficiently
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent education
  • Completion of apprenticeship vocational training in the respective or related trade
  • Valid Certificate of Qualification issued by the BC Ministry of Labour or equivalent
  • Valid BC driver's license of the appropriate class
  • Some training in basic supervisory and organizational procedures
