We are seeking a skilled Marble Setter to join our team at AtwoZ Renos Inc. as a key member of our installation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered with precision and accuracy.
  • Mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using hand trowels, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Prepare rough plans and sketches to visualize and communicate installation designs.
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base, ensuring a secure and level fit.
  • Align and straighten tiles to achieve a visually appealing and professional finish.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools, minimizing waste and ensuring a seamless fit.
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on installation techniques and best practices.
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout, maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, ensuring a safe and functional installation.
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs, requiring attention to detail and creativity.
  • Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets, ensuring a sturdy and secure installation.
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite, requiring precision and attention to detail.
  • Estimate costs and materials, ensuring accurate and efficient project planning.
  • Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces, requiring a strong understanding of materials and installation techniques.
  • Install tile strips, ensuring a seamless and professional finish.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • The Marble Setter will work in a physically demanding environment, requiring frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • The ability to distinguish between colors is essential for ensuring accurate and precise installation.
