Job Summary

As a Technical Support Specialist at Tower Research Capital, you will be responsible for providing level one and level two support for our trading applications, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. You will also be involved in proposing and executing automation efforts to enhance reliability and reduce operational burden. Additionally, you will monitor daily reports and scheduled jobs, as well as serve as the primary technical contact for the trading team. This role requires strong scripting skills in Python and Bash, a thorough understanding of Linux fundamentals, and experience with configuration management, source control, and automated deployment. If you have a background in C++ and excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide level one and level two support for trading applications
• Propose and execute automation efforts to enhance reliability and reduce operational burden
• Monitor daily reports and scheduled jobs
• Serve as primary technical contact for trading team

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash
• Thorough understanding of Linux fundamentals
• Experience with configuration management, source control, and automated deployment
• Knowledge of SQL and use of databases
• Background in C++ a plus
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
