Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Ptarmigan Inn. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing excellent service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation

Ensure that all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, are clean and sanitized at all times.

Supply Management

Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas in a timely and efficient manner.

Waste Management

Remove kitchen garbage and trash in a responsible and environmentally friendly way.

Floor Maintenance

Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Food Preparation

Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to prepare for cooking.

Support for Diversity and Inclusion
