We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Ptarmigan Inn. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities:- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
- Participate in initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
- Support the recruitment and retention of employees from diverse backgrounds.
