Carmichael Engineering / Ingénierie Carmichael is seeking an experienced B2B collection agent to manage a portfolio of overdue accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Portfolio Management: Analyze and prioritize overdue customer accounts, implementing effective collection strategies.
  • Negotiation: Regularly communicate with customers to negotiate payment plans, resolve disputes, and obtain payment of outstanding invoices.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with internal customers while ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Reporting: Maintain up-to-date customer files and produce regular reports on collection activity and results achieved.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, negotiation skills, rigor, organization, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Language: Bilingual.
  • Tools: Proficiency in IT tools (CRM, ERP, Office Suite).
  • Qualities: Perseverance, self-discipline, diplomacy, and sense of customer service.
