About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead UX Designer to join our team at Thomson Reuters. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for driving and implementing a Pan-Tax and Corporate AI design strategy across our most complex applications and problem spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate and work cross-functionally with design, program, and engineering teams from design concept to design solution, setting UX guidelines, and creating assets to ensure bar-raising quality all the way to market.
  • Serve as a thought leader in the design of useful, usable, and desirable products in a team environment.
  • Assist in developing use cases and high-level requirements while defining a UX strategy and creating user-centered designs utilizing customer feedback, market analysis, and usability findings.
  • Present your solutions to design, product and engineering and leadership, and senior leadership. Synthesize and manage feedback to incorporate changes appropriately, and iterate the vision and design accordingly.
  • Continually iterate and evolve the way we design and learn from our customers.
  • Chart a course for yourself in ambiguous situations. Lead strategic thinking across the team and mentor designers.
  • Work strategically with other executives and team members across the organization.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • 10+ years design experience creating simple solutions for complex challenges.
  • Experience working across teams to synthesize feedback and input from product management, engineering, and marketing.
  • A strong portfolio of work that illustrates your process, your level of craft and the results you have driven.
  • Familiarity with Agile development.
  • Familiarity with AI and Generative AI.
  • Confidence in working with strong, passionate, fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong time-management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
