We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant/Dispatch Clerk to join our team at School District #67 (Okanagan Skaha). This role will provide administrative support to the Human Resources department, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clerical support to the Human Resources department, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
- Assist with recruitment and hiring processes, including posting job openings, screening applications, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate and maintain accurate records of employee information, including personnel files and benefits.
- Perform various administrative tasks, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and preparing correspondence.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of district policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
- Completion of Grade 12 and 6 months of post-secondary clerical training or equivalent experience.
- Post-secondary program, diploma, or certificate in Business Administration, including courses in Human Resources.
- Excellent clerical skills, including typing speed of 60 wpm.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- A competitive hourly rate of $28.29 per hour.
