Electrical Project Manager Job Description

At Potentia Human Resources Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate electrical projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with project leads, clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure project success.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Manage project expenses, track progress, and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring project success.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and project team members.
  • Participate in sales and business development, identifying potential project opportunities and new clients.

Requirements:

  • Red Seal Electrician with field experience.
  • Field Safety Representative Class B or A.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical project management or construction leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and codes.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and manage several projects at once.
  • Exceptional time management skills to meet project deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader to join a collaborative team and expand their knowledge and professional growth. We anticipate offering the successful candidate a base salary of approximately $85,000 to $120,000 dependent upon previous experience and organizational success.
