What You'll Do Here:

Operational Excellence:

• Oversee drayage operations, optimizing routes for efficiency and productivity.

• Coordinate cargo movement across various modes, ensuring timely transfers and minimizing delays.

• Collaborate with carriers for seamless goods transportation and negotiate rates for cost-effectiveness.

Financial Acumen:

• Manage the budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing strategies to reduce expenses.

• Analyze financial data and make informed decisions to drive business growth.

Performance and Continuous Improvement:

• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational efficiency and implement continuous improvement strategies.

• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.

Customer Satisfaction and Collaboration:

• Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring reliable and efficient services.

• Communicate effectively with internal teams for seamless collaboration and coordination.

Team Supervision and Efficiency:

• Supervise operations, maintaining consistency and efficiency in all aspects of the job.

• Provide support and act as a backup during high-volume or staffing challenges.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.

• Experience in drayage and intermodal is a plus.

• Proficiency in both English and French languages.

• Proven experience in sales development and operations management within the transportation industry.

• Strong understanding of transportation logistics processes and procedures.

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

• A self-starter with the drive to exceed targets and contribute to the company's growth.
