Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipments Coordination: Monitor and coordinate shipments, including communication with overseas offices, pick up, delivery of goods, freight monitoring, documentation, insurance, and accounting.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers regarding sea freight import procedures, international regulations, and provide guidance on payments procedures.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Obtain and produce all pertinent information, including overseas, bank-related documents, consulates, government agencies, and ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Transportation and Logistics: Organize transport and documentation with carriers, ensuring seamless and efficient logistics operations.
  • Business Development: Develop business relations and follow up with customers and partners, including carriers, to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Team Support: Assist Intermediate and Junior agents' members in problem-solving and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in improving quality and processes, ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency in logistics operations.

Requirements:

  • Education: College degree in Logistics and Transportation or related field.
  • Experience: More than 5 years of experience in the transportation field, with a strong background in logistics and customer service.
  • Language: Bilingual (French/English) with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
