We are seeking a dedicated human resources professional specializing in labor relations to serve as a business partner, committed to enhancing our organizational support across various sectors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Developing and executing innovative strategies to address operational requirements while considering employee perspectives. Contributing to the effective functioning, expansion, and sustainability of our distinctive labor relations framework. Assisting the Operations team and employee representatives in navigating labor relations matters. Guiding and mentoring managers on issues related to labor relations, performance management, talent development, change initiatives, and employee engagement. Fostering and maintaining positive relationships by actively engaging in labor relations committees, managing complex scenarios, and promoting conflict prevention and resolution. Assessing the current state of labor relations and aiding in the implementation of best practices, policies, and procedures essential for operational efficiency. Collaborating with key stakeholders to present key performance indicators and offer HR insights through data analysis. Engaging in sector-specific HR initiatives through research, presentations, implementation, and follow-up activities.

IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

A bachelor's degree in human resources management or industrial relations, complemented by a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Comprehensive understanding of employment and human resources laws applicable in Quebec. Strong capability to build and sustain trust-based relationships. Demonstrated leadership qualities, integrity, responsibility, and sound judgment. Proficient analytical skills with the ability to identify solutions and effectively manage outcomes. Expertise in providing guidance and support to employees, operations, and management in resolving common labor and employee relations challenges. Proficiency in communicating with internal and external stakeholders in both English and French on a regular basis. The role necessitates a presence at the workplace for a minimum of four days each week.
