Position Overview: The University of Saskatchewan's esteemed College of Dentistry is in search of a highly skilled professional to fulfill the role of Tenure Track Faculty Member.
Position Details: This full-time academic role is available at the rank of either Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, specializing in Operative/Restorative Dentistry and Dental Materials.
Responsibilities: The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Delivering exceptional didactic, pre-clinical, and clinical instruction.
- Supervising and mentoring student research initiatives.
- Leading and engaging in research projects, including securing funding.
- Participating in relevant administrative responsibilities.
Qualifications: Candidates must possess a DDS/DMD or equivalent degree, demonstrate a record of academic success, and preferably hold a PhD or MSc degree. Postdoctoral experience is advantageous. The ideal applicant will exhibit strong teaching capabilities, effective mentoring skills, and excellent interpersonal communication.
Compensation: The salary for this position is competitive, ranging from $99,945 to $163,766 based on academic rank.
