Operations Support Coordinator Job Description

Voyago is seeking an experienced Operations Support Coordinator to join our Transit Operations team in the Niagara Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support daily operations, including payroll duties and administrative tasks.
  • Provide administrative assistance in various special projects.
  • Direct staff activities, ensuring drivers meet Transit contract standards and business continuity during staff absences.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as travel arrangements, phone answering, and meeting scheduling.
  • Plan and organize conferences, events, staff training, and employee engagement activities.
  • Prepare and maintain operations documents and reports.
  • Manage operational tasks under manager direction.
  • Handle logistical responsibilities, including customer service, order entry, and phone calls for Transit Operations, client services, and quality management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years' relevant experience.
  • Valid G driver's license.
  • Clean driver's abstract.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Niagara Region.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Enhanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook applications, and technology.
  • Strong and proven customer service experience.
  • Experience in office management or an administrative role.
  • Experience in payroll administration.
