Leadership Development Specialist – Category A

LinHR Consulting Inc. is seeking experienced leadership development specialists for contract-based roles.

The position primarily allows for remote work, with occasional client meetings. A valid security clearance is required.

As a Leadership Development Specialist, you will collaborate closely with the management team to formulate a comprehensive action plan aimed at fostering cultural transformation and enhancing workplace wellness. This includes establishing a workplace wellness team, equipping them with essential tools, crafting actionable strategies, and implementing concrete measures to facilitate positive organizational change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate an introductory session on the proposed methodology with the management team.
  • Design a structured process for developing a clear action plan.
  • Identify and enhance necessary skills while demonstrating actionable steps towards change.
  • Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of executive and managerial leadership capabilities.
  • Organize and lead information sessions, forums, and workshops for managers to exchange leadership experiences and challenges.
  • Conduct assessments and formulate implementation strategies.
  • Create leadership enhancement programs, talent management frameworks, and succession planning strategies.
  • Design targeted workshops to empower managers as change advocates.
  • Execute benchmarking studies.
  • Develop and implement mentorship initiatives and establish key concepts for succession planning.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a minimum 40-hour Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) training certificate.
  • Experience leading at least five (5) leadership development projects in the public sector within the last five (5) years.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in facilitating large-scale initiatives involving over 150 staff or in alternative dispute resolution related to organizational learning or leadership development.
  • Valid security clearance is mandatory.
  • At least 10 years of consulting experience.
  • Proficiency in leadership tools, emotional intelligence, self-management, and fostering a workplace culture characterized by inquiry, resilience, civility, and engagement.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English and French) in speaking, writing, and reading is preferred.
