Canadian Blood Services is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Category Manager to join our dynamic Procurement team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, plan, and coordinate the procurement department's operational plans and processes.
  • Establish networks and maintain positive relationships with vendors, government, stakeholders, and CBS leaders.
  • Collaborate with experts to incorporate complex information in procurement documents.
  • Negotiate, manage, and monitor contracts to meet CBS' needs.
  • Track contract expiration and ensure timely sourcing, renewal, or extension.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of customer business needs.
  • Assist with budget process and project approval.
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary level education from a recognized academic institution.
  • Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation is a definite asset.
  • Knowledge of SAP Ariba (Contracts & Sourcing modules).
  • Annual Performance Award up to 8%.
  • Payments in lieu of vacation, holidays, and benefits.
