About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Madameek Restaurant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of our food service staff, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory levels to ensure we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and develop our food service staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our quality control standards, maintaining the high standards that our customers expect from us.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators, as well as prepare budget and cost estimates to inform our business decisions.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights into our operations.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at Madameek Restaurant, you will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods, and you must be comfortable working in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service role, or equivalent experience
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
