Role Overview

We are in search of a passionate Design Leader with extensive experience in Design Systems. You possess the ideal combination of skills to propel projects forward, ensuring successful outcomes while harnessing the creative energy of a talented team.

Your background includes guiding designs from initial concept through rapid iterations to flawless execution. You should have a strong passion for usability, a keen eye for visual coherence, and the ability to distill complexity into its fundamental components. As an effective communicator and organizer, you are prepared to advocate for design perspectives amidst senior-level considerations from Product Management, Design, and Engineering leadership. Your ambition is to elevate our standards to "world-class" levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of talented designers to produce exceptional work.
  • Collaborate across product research and development through the lens of the Design System.
  • Identify and prioritize user scenarios through customer insights and competitive analysis.
  • Create and develop functional prototypes, paving the way for development-ready execution.
  • Establish strong partnerships with engineering and product management to align on vision and execution of product strategies.
  • Deliver a comprehensive UX vision along with a roadmap for progressive, iterative enhancements that realize the broader vision over time.
Essential Qualifications
  • Degree in human-computer interaction, interaction design, visual design, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Over 10 years of experience in designing top-tier software.
  • More than 5 years of experience managing multiple design professionals.
  • Expertise in user-centered design principles.
  • Experience in creating and scaling Design Systems.
  • Proficiency with Figma and other industry-standard design tools.
  • Deep understanding of modern UI frameworks (e.g., React).
  • A robust portfolio showcasing a variety of projects.
  • Experience with UX for enterprise software products, channels, or marketplaces is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies (agile/scrum/kanban).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected base salary range for this role is $154,783 - $208,696. Employees may also qualify for bonuses, stock options, and other forms of compensation.

This compensation represents the total anticipated earnings for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, location, experience, and qualifications.
