About the Role

As a Delivery Consultant with IBM Technology Expert Labs, you will be part of a team that delivers world-class services to our clients. Your expertise in IBM products will enable you to bring together the necessary technology and services to help customers solve their most challenging problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand clients' main challenges and develop solutions that help them reach true business value by working through the phases of design, development, integration, implementation, migration, and product support with a sense of urgency.
  • Agile Planning and Execution:
    • Create and execute agile plans where you are responsible for installing and provisioning assets, testing, migrating to production, and day-two operations.
  • Demonstrate a natural bias towards self-motivation, curiosity, and initiative in addition to navigating data and people to find answers and present solutions.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering.
  • Hands-on exposure to real-world application of computer science, information systems, or engineering concepts.
  • Technical Expertise in Mainframe System Software on z/OS.
  • Familiarity with DevOps including open-source products.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Familiarity with installation and configuration of IBM Z products.
  • Developer for z/OS (IDz), Enterprise Edition (IDzEE), Application Delivery Foundation for z/OS (ADFz), Application Discovery and Delivery Intelligence (ADDI), IBM Z Development and Test (ZD&T), and IBM Virtual Dev and Test for z/OS (ZVDT).
  • Familiarity in the delivery of training.
