Senior Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Analyst to join our team at Westland Insurance. As a key member of our Information Security department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's information systems and data.
Key Responsibilities:- Translate security objectives and risk management strategies into security processes enabled by technologies and services.
- Support the operation of security systems and risk management processes, including the triage, investigation, and remediation of information security incidents.
- Participate in the creation of enterprise security documentation, including policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
- Support validation of security controls through participation, planning, and execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify and prioritize potential risks to the organization's information assets, and develop and implement security strategies to mitigate identified risks.
- Minimum 5 years of directly related experience working in an IT Infrastructure or Information Security role.
- Strong technical knowledge of both Windows on-premises and Azure cloud environments.
- Experience with application and infrastructure security solutions, including SIEM platforms, MDR platforms, and Identity and Access Management systems.
- Excellent knowledge of information security standards and practices, including NIST CSF, NIST 800:53, CIS, OWASP, and PCI DSS.
- Experience with secure design and project risk assessments for cloud and on-prem environments, including SaaS solutions.
- Ability to provide security recommendations by assessing and analyzing application security testing outcomes.
- Highly organized, with excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise between technical and non-technical audiences.
- Information security-related certification from a recognized issuing body (CEH, CISSP, CISM, etc.).
- A competitive salary range of $91,200 - $114,000, with a 35-hour work week.
