Cyber Security Operations Analyst

Job Summary:

Prospera is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Operations Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our security operations team, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing our network and data infrastructure from a cyber and information security perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze network and data infrastructure for potential security threats
  • Develop and implement security playbooks for incident detection and response
  • Collaborate with IT Support, Infrastructure, Enterprise Applications, and key suppliers to reduce cyber risk
  • Support 24/7 operation and respond to inquiries on a rotational basis
  • Utilize cybersecurity tools and technologies to identify and mitigate potential threats
  • Maintain and enhance incident response plan and playbooks
  • Oversee Vulnerability Management program following NIST Framework objectives and controls
  • Assist in coordinating third-party penetration/network/application assessments
  • Collaborate with GRC specialists and participate in governance committees

Requirements:

  • University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years' experience in Security Operations, SOC, or information security engineering roles
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, communications protocols, cloud and mobile devices best practices, and risk management
  • Proficient experience with assessing and auditing network controls
  • Knowledge of current cloud platforms, services, and security best practices
