Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber and Information Security Operations Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing our network and data infrastructure from a cyber and information security perspective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze network and data infrastructure for potential security threats
  • Develop and implement security playbooks for incident detection and response
  • Collaborate with IT Support, Infrastructure, Enterprise Applications, and key suppliers to reduce cyber risk
  • Utilize cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions
  • Maintain and enhance the incident response plan and playbooks for common incident types
  • Oversee a comprehensive Vulnerability Management program following the NIST Framework objectives and controls
  • Assist in coordinating third-party penetration and network assessments
  • Collaborate with GRC specialists and participate in governance committees

Requirements

  • University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or a related field
  • 3-5 years' experience in Security Operations, Security Operations Centre (SOC), or information security engineering roles
  • Experience in an agile environment is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, communications protocols, cloud and mobile devices best practices, and risk management
  • Knowledge of current cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), services, and security best practices
  • Knowledgeable in running an in-house security operation, hybrid, or in the management of a third-party SOC vendor
  • Proficient experience with assessing and auditing network controls such as firewalls, IDS/IDP, DNS, VPN, 2-factor authentication, port/packet filtering, VLANs, physical and logical separation of network segments, security zoning, and traffic analysis
  • Proficient knowledge of ISO 27001/2, COBIT, and ITIL
