Position Objective

Oversee departmental operations, resource allocation, budgeting, workflow organization, and team leadership to meet production targets. Cultivate and mentor staff while driving continuous improvement and performance enhancement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

MANUFACTURING / PACKAGING OPERATIONS

  • Confirm production schedules in partnership with the Logistics Division
  • Coordinate material and personnel resources based on production requirements
  • Guarantee the availability of materials and documentation for scheduled operations
  • Review and document batch records and production paperwork
  • Investigate and resolve manufacturing discrepancies
  • Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations

Leadership Duties

  • Direct and structure the team
  • Establish performance goals for team members
  • Assess employee performance and recommend promotions or disciplinary actions
  • Identify staffing requirements and engage in the recruitment process
  • Facilitate the development and training of team members
  • Encourage a collaborative team atmosphere
  • Act on audit findings and recommendations

Resource Management

  • Oversee departmental budget and suggest necessary investments
  • Set performance targets for the department
  • Ensure compliance with production quality standards
  • Enhance production efficiency through strategic action plans
  • Manage staff and equipment allocation priorities
  • Implement a preventive maintenance strategy
  • Qualify installations and adhere to the qualification framework

  • Engage in collaborative working groups
  • Work with support services for daily operational challenges
  • Initiate improvement projects and cross-departmental initiatives
