Key Responsibilities:- Schedule events, programs, and activities to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Train workers in duties and policies to maintain compliance and efficiency.
- Prepare and submit reports to management and stakeholders to inform decision-making.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
- Co-ordinate and assign work to team members to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to support payroll operations.
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in payroll administration.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high pressure.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
- Work setting: Consulting firm.
- Transportation: Public transportation is available.
- Work conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail.
