Join Our Team as a Merchandise Planner

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Merchandise Planner to join our team at The Home Depot Canada. As a key member of our Merchandising team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability through effective product assortment planning and vendor partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic category and assortment plans to drive sales growth and profitability
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to inform merchandising decisions
  • Collaborate with vendors to source innovative products and optimize inventory levels
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of merchandising plans
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, or Finance
  • Previous analytical experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to think strategically and tactically
