Job Title: Executive Sous Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team at Earls Kitchen + Bar. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Job Summary:
  • Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality of food.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques.
  • Monitor and control kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal use and minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a sous chef or equivalent position in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing a team to achieve high standards of quality and service.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with kitchen staff, management, and other departments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
