We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Earls Kitchen + Bar. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu items.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.
- 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent position.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree an asset.
