About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Retail Sales Merchandiser to join our team at Advantage Solutions Inc. As a Retail Sales Merchandiser, you will be responsible for servicing and selling to retail accounts within an assigned territory to assure client standards are met and volume is increased.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain full distribution on all authorized SKU's to meet client and Company objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to ensure seamless execution of client standards.
  • Sell at store level 'live orders' on multiple clients in over 50% of their stores on a monthly basis to increase sales volume.
  • Build displays, create themes with related items to support holiday/special promo events, and make plan-o-gram adjustments when necessary to drive sales.
  • Maintain client objectives by ensuring all authorized client items represented on the shelf have accurate and complete tags and removing un-saleable or out-of-code product.
  • Work with the authorization of items to meet Client shelf schematic standards and take direction regarding tagging, rotating, and placing POS materials for products on shelf.
  • Effectively manage stores within your territory and execute projects and standards to achieve client goals and objectives.
  • Establish and maintain customer and client relationships to increase brand representation and effectiveness.
  • Complete accurate and timely paperwork and reports, recaps, itineraries, timesheets, expense reports, etc.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree or 2 years of experience in retail, client, or food broker preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, in order to meet deadlines.
  • Basic computer skills including familiarity with Word, Excel, and Internet usage.
  • Ability to follow up and mathematical and analytical skills.
